Responsibilities

Manage the supply chain flow and act as the key contact for manufacturing sites.
Check supplier production capacity and identify root causes of non-compliance.
Develop and implement solutions to improve end-to-end logistic flows (material flow, storage, packaging, warehousing, transportation).
Control the completeness and quality of logistics and transportation services.
Follow supplier physical delivery according to site production requirements.
Manage supplier non-compliance issues and build action plans for delivery risks.
Support supplier delivery confirmation and ASN input in ARIBA.
Report on OTIF for assigned suppliers.
Participate in sourcing decisions on logistic aspects and manage suppliers to respect logistic specifications.
Apply solutions to protect parts during all logistic operations.
Design packaging solutions and contribute to EHS requirements for logistics.
Act as a key interface with freight forwarders and supervise transportation operational activities.
Ensure customs compliance and drive continuous improvement plans for operational scope.
Drive cost reduction and optimize transportation efficiency.

Requirements

University degree in international transport or supply chain field.
3-5 years working experience in a relevant field.
Fluent in English.
Knowledge of modern principles for efficient transportation management, and distribution control.
SAP knowledge is desirable.
German and French language skills are desirable.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
