The Inside Sales Engineer / Technician I will provide technical review and generate quotations to optimize quote-to-cash service levels, supporting outside sales teams. This hybrid role requires an engineering degree or student status, proficiency in MS Office and Windows, and an interest in technical customer service and sales.

Responsibilities

Generate and select model numbers based on customer's specific data or application.
Develop quotations based on requirements.
Provide customer product application support and review solutions.
Review quotes for technical conformance.
Prepare quotation packages including technical, commercial, and competitive strategy.
Follow up on proposals to increase sales hit rate.
Perform technical review of orders to ensure correct product processing and availability of technical requirements.
Maintain working knowledge of quotation tools, pricing policies, and Automation Solution products.
Apply commercial policies and business practices.
Ensure compliance with import/export, contract, and government requirements.
Provide backup and support for internal and external sales personnel.
Provide consulting support to Order Entry Analyst or Order Management.
Achieve targets on productivity, service levels, and quality.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or advance student of engineering such as Electrical, mechanical, electromechanical, Chemical, Industrial Chemistry.
English (Basic-Intermediate).
Solid prioritizing and organizational skills.
Self-starter.
Solid keyboard skills.
Strong proficiency for using Windows & MS Office applications.
Interest in the mix of technical, customer service, and sales.
Willing to work on flexible shift schedule based on business needs.

Desired Qualifications

1-2 years of sales-related customer service experience is preferred.
Portuguese language (Intermediate - Advance) only for Brazil.
