Responsibilities
- Lead business process transformation conversations grounded in TM Forum reference frameworks (eTOM, SID, Open Digital Architecture, and Open APIs).
- Drive autonomous network ambitions, defining a staged path toward higher levels of autonomy.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to operator executives on the implications of the AI era for their business.
- Originate, shape, and help close large, complex, multi-year transformation deals.
- Identify customer needs and shape market-making opportunities across the telecom value chain.
- Champion Forward Deployed Engineering to co-build and productionize AI and agent solutions with customers.
- Collaborate with account teams, specialists, and partners to orchestrate customer opportunities.
- Build and maintain deep knowledge of the telecommunications industry, including standards, trends, and policy implications.
- Provide feedback to sales, marketing, and engineering teams on future product trends and sales blockers.
Requirements
- Master's Degree in a related field AND 5+ years of customer-facing experience in operations, enterprise-level improvement program management, product management, or industry-relevant management/technical work.
- OR Bachelor's Degree in a related field AND 7+ years of customer-facing experience in operations, enterprise-level improvement program management, product management, or industry-relevant management/technical work.
- OR equivalent experience.
- Demonstrated experience in consultative sales, advisory, strategy, business development, transformation, or technology leadership within the telecommunications industry or serving telecom clients.
- Demonstrated experience shaping and closing large, complex, multi-year transformation deals with senior executive stakeholders.
- Demonstrated experience in telecom business process transformation, with working knowledge of TM Forum frameworks (eTOM, SID, Open Digital Architecture, and Open APIs).
- Experience engaging executive stakeholders at a large US telecommunications operator.
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field AND 15+ years customer facing experience in telecommunications, management consulting, consultative selling, technology, or industry relevant equivalent management or technical work experience; OR Master's Degree in a related field AND 13+ years such experience; OR equivalent experience.
- Experience in a consultative sales, advisory, strategy, business development, transformation, or technology leadership capacity, either directly within the telecommunications industry or with enterprise technology, network equipment, OSS/BSS, data and analytics, management consulting, systems integrator, or advisory firms serving telecom clients.
- Ability to operate within a global Microsoft team.
Benefits
- Typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $133,000 - $222,700 per year.
- Different base pay range for San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area: USD $170,300 - $239,800 per year.
- Certain roles may be eligible for benefits and other compensation.
