We are seeking a Head of Build to manage Network Rollout (NRO) and develop end-to-end technical solutions for customers. This role involves strategic planning, resource management, financial oversight, and leading large-scale network deployments with a focus on quality and profitability. The ideal candidate will have 15-20 years of experience in telecommunications, with expertise in project management and leading technical teams.

Responsibilities

Manage Network Rollout (NRO) and develop commercially viable technical solutions.
Ensure efficient execution and E2E involvement from initial engagements till final acceptance.
Plan and provide resources, tools, and drive automation for customer projects.
Identify and improve processes within the service delivery organization.
Secure partnership with Service Line Build/Service Delivery Unit/Sourcing for resource availability.
Develop and execute delivery strategies to minimize cost overruns and ensure QoS.
Manage customer interactions and escalations from corporate vertical Heads/CTOs.
Collaborate with departments for seamless and timely delivery.
Manage budgeting, maintain margins, and ensure profitability.
Drive organizational culture, initiatives, values, and team competence.
Act as E2E Technical Lead for integration of multi-vendor solutions.
Ensure 100% compliance of OHS and ethical conduct in NRO programs.
Identify and drive OHS initiatives to propagate safety measures.
Ensure First time Right and Quality KPIs to deliver projects on time.
Roll out large scale 4G/5G networks, swaps & migration services.
Lead areas including Cloud RAN, MIMO, 5G, IOT, SDN.
Create an environment for motivated employees, supportive stakeholders, and satisfied customers.
Implement new Delivery models and define OKRs for efficiency and competitiveness.
Keep updated on activities and plan future resources to build technical competence.

Requirements

BE/BTech in ECE/IT/CS preferred.
PMP, Prince 2, or ITIL certification preferred.
15 to 20 years of experience.
Experience in leading Radio & Transport Network rollouts, swaps, or modernizations.
Very good technical knowledge about Ericsson RAN, MW, and related products.
Proven experience as a People Leader, Technical Lead, or Project Manager in leading Telco Projects.

Experience in managing budget and ensuring profitability.
Experience in driving organizational culture and values.
Experience with multi-vendor solutions spanning Radio Access Networks (2G/3G/4G/5G), Microwave, Optical, Packet Transport & IPRAN / CEN domains.
Experience rolling out large scale 4G/5G networks, swaps & migration services.
Experience leading areas including Cloud RAN, MIMO, 5G, IOT, SDN.
Experience implementing new Delivery models and defining OKRs.
Experience managing ASP/Third party / subcontracted resources.
