Amazon is seeking a talented Tech Sourcing Recruiter for a 6-month remote contract role to support its US growth. The successful candidate will focus on finding top talent in distribution and operations, utilizing advanced sourcing techniques and building candidate networks.

Responsibilities

Recruit passive candidates by profiling them and assessing their motivation and fit.
Build and maintain a network of potential candidates through market research and relationship management.
Conduct in-depth interviews to anticipate hiring manager preferences.
Recommend recruitment strategies to support company growth.
Implement and refine recruitment processes to align with Amazon's mission.
Articulate plans with deliverables, timelines, and tracking processes.
Proactively source passive candidates using Boolean search, LinkedIn Recruiter, GitHub, and X-ray search for remote sites.
Conduct candidate outreach and engagement to build interest and assess fit.
Filter candidates during recruiter phone screens.
Conduct on-phone and virtual candidate screening to assess qualifications and skill alignment.
Utilize Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, X-ray search, and GitHub.

Requirements

2+ years of corporate or search firm progressive recruiting or research experience.
Bachelor's degree, or 2+ years of full-time Amazon experience.
Experience with contact management system/applicant tracking system for sourcing, tracking, and managing candidates.
Ability to curate market intel for saturated markets.
Proven ability to proactively source passive candidates using Boolean search, LinkedIn Recruiter, GitHub, X-ray search/Open web and other sourcing channels for remote sites.
Experience in conducting candidate outreach and engagement to build interest and assess right fit, with ability to filter the right candidates during recruiter phone screen.
Must be able to successfully manage, prioritize and close searches against a timeline.
Experience setting benchmarks, metrics, and understanding how to prioritize to hit customer SLAs.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to prioritize time, demonstrate pushback and a sense of urgency.

Desired Qualifications

Create targeted Boolean strings to identify candidates with niche technical skills across LinkedIn, X-ray search/Open web, GitHub, trade forums and specialized job boards.
Skilled at requirement gathering, sourcing and screening candidates in specialized technical fields.
Articulate role-based value proposition to the candidate.
Build strategies and brainstorm to create efficient and creative sourcing solutions for stakeholders.
Understand the talent market to source the right talent from targeted organizations.
