Qualcomm is seeking an Engineer, Senior Engineer, or Lead Engineer with expertise in Display Driver or Linux Kernel Device Driver development for their Hyderabad, India location. The role involves working on display subsystems for Qualcomm Snapdragon processors, with a focus on C/C++ programming and embedded systems fundamentals.

Responsibilities

Work on display sub-system on Qualcomm Snapdragon processors.
Engage in development of DP/DSI drivers, color processing frameworks, and kernel drivers in Linux and Windows.
Develop on Android and Windows platforms.
Responsible for multi-site design/development and supporting customers/OEM.

Requirements

Strong in C/C++ programming with either Display Driver Exp or Linux Kernel Device Driver Experience.
Experience in DRM/ Kernel programming.
Good understanding of OS/embedded fundamentals.
Strong C language and Linux/Windows embedded programming.
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience.
OR Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 1+ year of Software Engineering or related work experience.
OR PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
2+ years of academic or work experience with Programming Language such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc.

Desired Qualifications

Additional - Multimedia drivers (camera/display/video) work experience is good to have not Mandatory.
Embedded debugging experience (working with HW boards, JTAG based debugging etc.) is a plus.
Experience working on ARM based systems is a plus.
