As a Software Developer, you will join a global team developing software platforms for Ericsson's Purpose-built and Cloud RAN solutions, focusing on high-performance, scalable, and secure mobile networks. This role involves designing, implementing, testing, and maintaining software components, contributing to architectural improvements, and leveraging AI for productivity.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain software for Ericsson's Baseband and Cloud RAN solutions.
Design, implement, test, and troubleshoot software components.
Contribute to software architectural improvement.
Work with automation, continuous integration, and continuous delivery practices.
Leverage AI and automation to increase productivity and reduce lead time.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams across Ericsson's global R&D organization.
Learn and apply modern software engineering methodologies and AI-enabled development tools.
Contribute to innovations supporting the evolution from 5G Advanced toward future 6G networks.

Requirements

MSc or BSc in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Telecommunications, or another relevant field.
Programming experience in one or more languages such as C++, Python, Java, or similar.
Interest in software development, AI, machine learning, and telecommunications.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
A growth mindset and willingness to continuously learn.
Ability to collaborate effectively in diverse and international teams.
Good verbal and written communication skills in English.

Desired Qualifications

Familiarity with AI-assisted software development and coding assistants (for example Coding Buddy, GitHub Copilot, or similar tools) is an advantage.
