Responsibilities
- Provide deliveries to customers in a safe and timely manner.
- Follow Amarr’s policies in the Driver Handbook, including pre-trip inspections and log books.
- Keep all driver certification documents ready for display.
- Assist in warehouse production order completion when not driving.
- Accurately load & unload customers, inspecting for damaged materials.
- Unload and accurately receive incoming product.
Requirements
- Valid driver's license.
- Minimum 1 year of delivery driving experience required (2+ years preferred).
- Minimum 1 year experience driving box trucks or similar.
- Ability to perform warehouse duties in a non-climate controlled environment.
- Must be able to read and speak English per DOT guidelines.
- Frequent stooping, bending, walking, carrying, and lifting (50-75 lbs.).
- Ability to meet and comply with DOT regulations.
- Successfully complete internal Driver Training Program.
- Motor Vehicle report must meet Amarr’s driver standards.
- Must be 21 years of age.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
