Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day operations assigned by the Team Leader, including opening/closing duties and key/alarm code responsibilities.
  • Troubleshoot and apply appropriate corrective actions such as emergency and incident response, authorization, and access.
  • Collaborate with all functions to enhance the shopping journey and increase co-worker competence and knowledge.
  • Ensure customers receive consistent information throughout their shopping journey.
  • Record information in relevant systems to improve the customer's future shopping experience.
  • Enhance customer relationships to boost sales and ensure sustained profitability by understanding IKEA's product range and services.
  • Offer alternative solutions that meet the needs of individual customers.
  • Foster a team mindset centered around first-time right for every customer, ensuring a positive customer journey.
  • Contribute to an environment where IKEA culture embraces diversity.
  • Take part in additional department responsibilities to secure daily operations.

Requirements

  • 3 years of related experience.
  • 1 year of experience in a customer service and customer-focused environment.
  • Ability to lift, push/pull, slide/transfer, and carry occasionally (1-50lbs).
