Emerson is looking for a Credit and Collection Analyst in Escazú, Costa Rica. This hybrid role involves performing accounts receivables activities, including payment reconciliation, credit evaluations, and dispute management, utilizing multiple systems and MS Office. The ideal candidate has 1-2 years of experience in accounts receivables or customer service and a degree in Accounting, Business Management, or Finance.

Responsibilities

Uses multiple systems for tracking, information gathering, researching, and entering documentation of communication with customer.
Analyzes credit limits and credit requirements for customer accounts.
Reconciliation of customer accounts to settle strategies within the accounts receivable balances.
Answers inquiries and resolves routine issues within the credit to cash process.
May respond to customer inquiries with strong negotiation skills.
Exercises limited independent judgment and discretion in handling various deliveries and credit hold releases.
Analyzes and approves new account applications and prepares chargeback invoices.
Discusses account resolutions with internal parties.
Transmits, generates billing data to customers and resolved billing inquiries.
Builds account receivables reporting from credit, cash and collections.

Requirements

Degree preferred in Accounting, Business Management or Finance.
Good written and oral English communication skills. B1
Proficient in MS Office applications (MS Word and Excel).
Good analytical and problem-solving skills and keen attention to detail.
1 to 2 years in, accounts receivables Customer Service Representative position; accounts receivable representative.

Desired Qualifications

Practical knowledge of Oracle e-Business Suite preferred.
Experience in LAM collections market and automation industry preferred.
Experience in transitions and stabilization process.
