As a Retail Cart Attendant for IKEA in Brooklyn, NY, you will ensure an enjoyable shopping experience by providing cart services, maintaining store tools, and addressing customer needs. This part-time role (12-19 hrs/wk) requires availability for nights and weekends, with an hourly pay rate of $19.50.

Responsibilities

Provide friendly and efficient car loading and/or unloading services.
Keep the loading zone clean by clearing away straps, excess carts, and cardboard.
Ensure all physical shopping tools (carts, pencils, bags, maps, twine) are adequately stocked and maintained.
Fill physical shopping tools at closing.
Monitor the condition of physical and digital shopping tools, report IT issues, and remove unsafe tools.
Address customer needs and resolve issues independently, escalating when necessary.
Support other customer service areas like Full Serve Hand Out (FSHO), Exchanges & Returns, and Click & Collect.
Provide a simple and efficient handout experience in FSHO.
Properly stage products and equipment when supporting returns.
Ensure accurate order handoff for a positive customer experience in Click & Collect.
Contribute to an inclusive work environment embracing diversity.

Requirements

Lifting up to 50lbs.
Walking frequently.
Outdoor work 50% of the time.
