We are seeking a Business Management Analyst for Nordea Asset Management in Portugal to support Institutional and Wholesale Distribution activities. This role involves data management, analysis, reporting, and implementing operational improvements. The ideal candidate has a Master's degree, strong analytical skills, and experience with financial markets and data tools.

Responsibilities

  • Produce Daily, Monthly, Quarterly, Annual reports for Institutional and Wholesale Distribution (IWD) Management.
  • Act as an interface between Sales, Finance, and CRS to troubleshoot flows reallocation and fees.
  • Provide ad-hoc holdings and sales analysis to various stakeholders.
  • Create and maintain dashboards and reports to support data-driven decision making.
  • Contribute to the RFP/DDQ process, collaborating with Investment Product Teams.
  • Support the implementation of operational improvements using automation and technology.
  • Develop Market Intelligence capabilities for senior management and Sales teams.

Requirements

  • Good understanding of asset management processes and workflows (e.g., Fees, Value of AuM, Value of Flows).
  • Experience working with large datasets and performing data analysis.
  • Master’s degree in Economics, Finance, or a related field.
  • Fluency in English, both written and oral.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel, Power Query).
  • Familiarity with SQL.
  • Patience, determination, strong organizational skills, and attention to detail.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to leveraging data and technology.
  • Effective communication and strong teamwork skills.
  • Autonomy and drive for continuous process and workflow improvement.

Desired Qualifications

  • Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools (Power BI) is a plus.
  • Familiarity with any data-oriented language is a plus (Python, C#).
  • Familiarity with CRM systems (e.g. Salesforce).
