Wallace Perimeter Security is hiring a Business Developer to cover West Coast Canada (SK, AB, BC). This remote role requires proven sales or market development experience, CRM proficiency (Salesforce), and strong communication skills. The position involves identifying prospects, cold outreach, relationship building, attending industry events, and maintaining accurate records. A BA/BS degree is an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Identify prospects, conduct cold outreach, and build lasting relationships with decision-makers.
  • Maintain and submit regular activity and results reports, including daily call logs, weekly plans, and monthly/annual territory reviews.
  • Attend trade shows, seminars, and industry events to network and uncover new opportunities (travel required).
  • Keep accurate records in Salesforce, ensuring customer profiles, lead generation, and updates are properly maintained.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in sales or market development.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce or a similar CRM system.
  • Strong understanding of sales techniques and pipeline management.
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
  • Highly self-motivated and goal-oriented.

Desired Qualifications

  • A BA/BS degree or equivalent experience is an asset.
