Responsibilities

  • Lead and engage a team of 5-10 people.
  • Ensure project delivery against QCD commitments.
  • Set goals, drive execution, and secure outcomes.
  • Implement KPIs and data-driven performance.
  • Standardize and deploy best practices.
  • Ensure workload vs capacity alignment, including subcontracting.
  • Define and drive group strategy.
  • Contribute to department guidelines.
  • Implement effective workshare rules.
  • Lead management reviews.
  • Develop World Class Engineering capabilities.
  • Coach and grow team competencies.
  • Manage training and talent development.
  • Estimate and validate workload for projects and tenders.
  • Manage budgets (WP & CAPEX).
  • Commit to project/program QCD.

Requirements

  • At least 10 years in Engineering background, ideally in the railway industry.
  • Ideally, 5 years of team management background.
  • Proficiency in Project/program management.
  • Experience in Effort estimation & performance management.
  • Experience in Governance, KPI, and data analysis.
  • Experience in an international environment.
  • Strong leadership & communication skills.
  • Results-driven & entrepreneurial mindset.
  • Decision-making & influencing ability.
  • Organization & prioritization skills.
  • Capability to lead global teams.
  • Proficiency in French and English is required.
  • Knowledge of a third language is considered an asset.
