Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end responsibility for hub operations, including budgets, people development, third-party logistics (3PL) management, and operational performance.
- Ensure 3PL partner meets defined operational SLAs across inbound, outbound, ICQA, and FC Dock functions.
- Lead and develop a team of third-party Area Managers and Team Leads.
- Coach and mentor leaders to achieve performance objectives.
- Foster positive employee relations and build leadership bench strength within the hub.
- Plan staffing and work schedules.
- Lead quality and process improvement initiatives.
- Drive change programs to ensure the hub meets business targets.
- Set clear expectations for 3PL partners, track performance, provide feedback, and hold partners accountable for results.
- Ensure best practices are proactively identified and shared across departments, shifts, and the broader network.
- Work closely with cross-functional 3PL support teams including HR, Finance, Facilities, Security & Loss Prevention, IT and Operations leadership to secure resources, deliver projects, and support broader operational initiatives.
- Effectively resolve operational and people-related issues impacting assigned functional areas.
Requirements
- 2+ years of employee and performance management experience.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or 2+ years of Amazon (blue badge/FTE) experience.
