Autoliv is seeking an experienced Advanced Specialist - Production to lead their Airbag Module manufacturing operations in Pune. This role involves managing production lines, training teams, driving process improvements through Lean and WCM principles, and ensuring high standards of quality and safety to contribute to Autoliv's mission of saving lives.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage Airbag Module manufacturing operations.
Drive production planning and ensure achievement of customer schedules.
Supervise and develop a team of direct employees.
Implement and sustain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Support new product and production development initiatives.
Ensure optimal line balancing and workforce utilization.
Train direct employees on manufacturing processes and functional knowledge.
Ensure compliance with statutory and audit requirements related to employee training.
Foster a culture of continuous learning and skill development.
Drive productivity improvements and machine efficiency.
Implement Lean Manufacturing and World-Class Manufacturing practices.
Support process automation and Industry 4.0 initiatives.
Conduct process validation and drive manufacturing excellence.
Identify and resolve process-related issues through structured problem-solving.
Ensure zero quality defects and adherence to quality standards.
Meet customer delivery schedules and operational commitments.
Collaborate cross-functionally to achieve business and customer objectives.

Requirements

5-6 years of experience in production or manufacturing management.
Experience in training employees across manufacturing functions.
Hands-on experience with assembly processes and troubleshooting manufacturing issues.
Bachelor's degree in Engineering (B.E./B.Tech).
