IKEA is seeking a part-time Warehouse Co-worker for its first shift in Baytown, Texas. This role focuses on core warehouse processes such as picking, packing, and shipping, emphasizing safety and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities

Perform core warehouse processes including picking, packing, shipping, receiving, replenishment, and storing of goods.
Execute daily operations effectively using available systems and tools.
Unload, process, and handle inbound and outbound merchandise safely.
Identify, document, and remove any damages found or caused during handling of merchandise.
Contribute to goal setting for overall warehouse operations and support implementation of local business plans.
Analyze daily and seasonal workload demands to ensure efficient volume handling and resource planning.
Support high goods availability through timely and precise execution of assigned tasks.
Work in a lean, simple, and cost-conscious manner, sharing good practices to optimize daily operations.
Follow all IKEA health, safety, and security rules.
Collaborate with colleagues and take responsibility for additional tasks or projects as assigned.

Requirements

Minimum 1 year of related experience.
Ability to lift up to 70 lbs./30kgs ergonomically.
Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time.
Fluent in English and local language, both written and spoken.

Desired Qualifications

Previous warehouse and forklift experience is preferred, but not required.
