Atlas Copco seeks a Technical Training Coordinator to design, deliver, and improve technical training programs for their Service Division. This hybrid role involves both training facilitation and hands-on Field Service Engineering tasks, including equipment installation and troubleshooting, to ensure employees are well-prepared to support customers.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and deliver technical training sessions for Service Division employees.
  • Develop and maintain training content, materials, and simulation exercises.
  • Facilitate classroom and hands-on instruction using Atlas Copco tools and systems.
  • Partner with leadership to identify learning needs and align training with business priorities.
  • Conduct training needs analyses to identify skill gaps and opportunities for improvement.
  • Manage the training schedule, records, and system of accountability (Process Control).
  • Collect and evaluate feedback from participants to continuously improve training effectiveness.
  • Use learning management systems (LMS) to track and measure development progress.
  • Support Field Service operations when not conducting training, including equipment installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting.
  • Provide technical support and service to customers in production environments.
  • Document activities, report findings, and recommend improvements.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of experience as a Training Coordinator, Trainer, or Technical Instructor within manufacturing or a service-oriented environment.
  • Working knowledge of wireless tools, networking, and Bluetooth connectivity.
  • Proven mechanical and/or electrical aptitude, with hands-on field experience preferred.
  • Familiarity with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), Ladder Logic, and troubleshooting techniques.
  • Strong communication and facilitation skills; able to simplify complex topics for diverse audiences.
  • Understanding of instructional design principles and learning management systems.
  • Demonstrated ability to plan, execute, and evaluate full training cycles.
  • Collaborative mindset and commitment to continuous learning and improvement.
