Responsibilities
- Work with partners, customers, and key stakeholders to develop and articulate plans and long-term strategy.
- Initiate new programs and drive them through the execution phase.
- Manage various programs of work, engage teams and engineers, and set the pace for development, deployment, and delivery of data center services and infrastructure.
- Develop and prepare project documentation, process maps, presentations, and tracking reports to provide detailed current status of each project.
- Use technical judgment to drive project delivery, technology reviews, challenge proposals, and build consensus.
- Analyze services performance and system performance data, translate into recommendations and actionable plans, and provide strong quantitative analysis.
- Serve as an escalation point for external partners and coordinate efforts with internal stakeholders.
- Present team's analyses and recommendations to internal stakeholders, including executive management.
- Take accountability for driving project deliverables.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
- 8 years of experience in program or project management.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in data center construction, fit-out, and services programs.
- Experience in managing data center infrastructure and fit-out projects, and managing partners and stakeholders.
- Experience with vendor management.
- Experience in the use and customization of project management tools.
- Experience in the project management of complex projects.
- Knowledge of green field civil construction, construction permit and statutory requirements, local industry standards.
- Working knowledge of finance as applied to project/program management.
