The Staff Customer Service Representative will join the Americas Shared Services Center in Costa Rica, providing comprehensive customer support including order processing, returns, and sales assistance. Responsibilities

  • Understand and interact with T&M departments, processes, and applications to support customer needs.
  • Support sales opportunity management for strategic customers by fulfilling requests or advancing them.
  • Provide basic understanding of strategic customers throughout the sales and post-sales cycle.
  • Ensure an efficient customer experience by resolving issues promptly.
  • Process standard and non-standard customer orders and quotes using Oracle Order Entry, Sales Force, and Outlook.
  • Follow up with customers on pending actions via phone and email.
  • Support customer inquiries regarding order process, product availability, service delivery, or repair status.
  • Assist the Sales team by providing transactional support and information.
  • Build and manage Customer data records within Oracle.
  • Handle inbound customer service calls for orders or quotes processing from strategic customers in the Americas.
  • Lead all aspects of incoming customer calls for Sales, Tech Support, post-sales aid, and general inquiries.

Requirements

  • Advanced English level (B2+) for excellent reading, writing, and verbal communication.
  • Bachelor's Degree completed or advanced student status, preferably in Engineering-related careers.
  • 2-3 years of experience in back-office operations, preferably within Shared Services or multinational companies.
  • Ability to work Full-time, 8-hour workday between 6 am to 7 pm CST Monday-Friday, with overtime availability.
  • Effective communication with US customers regarding orders, service, and account inquiries.
  • Proficient in computer usage and a variety of basic skills.
  • Strong customer service attitude, positive outlook, and excellent work ethic.
  • Effective time management skills and a self-starter attitude.
  • Ability to handle multiple duties and tasks to meet defined service levels.
  • Ability to take ownership of customer needs and demonstrate initiative.
  • Interest in learning new business applications and enterprise software.
  • Interest in learning/improving processes.

Desired Qualifications

  • Oracle order entry and application experience is a plus.
  • Expertise in Account Management and differentiated account treatment strategy.
