Responsible for the maintenance of Dry Etching, Plasma, and Annealing Oven equipment. This role involves troubleshooting, calibration, type conversion, and assisting engineers with spare parts management while adhering to safety and quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for Dry Etching, Plasma and Annealing Oven equipment maintenance.
- Develop troubleshooting guides for major issues.
- Guide and train new line technicians on equipment maintenance and working procedures.
- Contribute to equipment improvement projects, e.g., equipment modification to reduce wafer breakage and improve equipment uptime.
- Perform PM and tool calibrations.
- Perform type conversion including equipment fine-tuning and buy-off.
- Perform equipment repair and troubleshooting, maintaining minimum downtime.
- Assist the engineer on spare parts management.
- Ensure compliance with CSR, EHS, QM, ESD, 5S standard and cleanroom protocol.
- Provide proper handover and shift pass down.
Requirements
- Diploma in Engineering or equivalent Technical Certificate.
- 4 years of relevant technical experience.
- Possesses technical competencies in his field of study.
- Ability to work independently, be hands-on and dive into technical details as required.
- Experience with computer systems and proficient with software applications such as MS Power-Point, Excel and Word.
- Calibration experience.
Desired Qualifications
- Fan out developed knowledge of the job skills and procedures across all similar equipment to improve performance and standardization.
- Contribute improvement ideas and work on continuous improvement projects.
- Coach team to complete a wide variety of difficult assignments/tasks.
- Work under minimum supervision.
- Previously worked as Equipment Engineer, Maintenance Engineer, Engineer, Senior Maintenance Engineer, or Test Technician.
