Responsibilities
- Contribute to the design, development, testing, and deployment of software across multiple domains.
- Collaborate with product owners, business partners, and end users to understand problems and define solution approaches.
- Apply Agile principles and collaborate within cross-functional teams.
- Participate in technology planning, trade-off discussions, and design decisions.
- Apply and learn modern development tools and platforms like object-oriented languages, web technologies, databases, cloud services, and version control.
- Facilitate communication of technical concepts between technical and non-technical audiences.
- Partner with mentors and rotation managers to set goals, track progress, and reflect on learnings.
- Engage in elective “lab” projects in areas like DevOps, UI/UX, AI/ML, and cross-functional consulting.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in software engineering, computer science, information systems, engineering, or a related technical or analytical field.
- Demonstrated interest in technology, business processes, or product development through coursework, internships, or project work.
Desired Qualifications
- Master's degree in software engineering or MBA.
- Engineering co-op or intern experience.
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams to define and deliver software-enabled solutions.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Experience gathering, documenting, and validating business or system requirements.
- Participation in project planning, stakeholder reviews, and/or solution design discussions.
- Experience leading or coordinating work across teams (with or without formal authority).
