The Subject Matter Expert (Support & Ops) is responsible for resolving escalated incidents using AWS and Terraform best practices, mentoring team members, and enhancing operational efficiency. This role requires expertise in IaC, AWS services, Python scripting for analysis, and strong communication skills for customer engagement.

Responsibilities

Resolve escalated incidents applying AWS and Terraform best practices to ensure SLA compliance and quality standards.
Mentor team members in IaC methodologies, prepare SOPs, and maintain comprehensive documentation.
Validate change order implementation plans using AWS CloudFormation and Ansible.
Engage with customers in meetings to identify issues and ensure proactive communication.
Conduct root cause and trend analyses using Python scripting and present performance reports.

Requirements

Proficient in IaC tools, specifically Terraform and AWS CloudFormation.
Strong understanding of AWS services and PaaS offerings.
Experience with automation tools like Ansible.
Solid analytical skills with the ability to perform root cause and trend analyses using Python.
Excellent communication and presentation skills for stakeholder engagement.

Desired Qualifications

AWS Certified Solutions Architect (Optional but valuable)
Hashicorp Certified: Terraform Associate (Optional but valuable)
