Responsibilities

  • Develop the service business in the assigned region/area.
  • Meet or exceed established business goals and maximize profit levels.
  • Oversee the daily operations of a team of Service Technicians, providing leadership and support.
  • Plan and control the daily workload of Service Technicians and provide technical support.
  • Visit customers to provide advice on service standards and sell service plans, products, and training.
  • Proactively identify, pursue, and resolve service issues.
  • Maintain a safe working environment and enforce safety procedures.
  • Arrange safety training for Service Technicians.

Requirements

  • 5-7 years of directly relevant experience.
  • High school diploma required.
  • Excellent organizational, supervisory, interpersonal, verbal and written communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of safety practices and procedures and OSHA regulatory compliance required.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel, as well as in IBM Lotus Notes applications.
  • Some travel required.
  • Valid driver’s license.

Desired Qualifications

  • Two or four-year technical college degree preferred or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience within the Atlas Copco Group is preferred.
