Responsibilities
- Collaborate with stakeholders to determine user requirements.
- Design, develop, and deliver scalable software solutions for a high-performance data platform processing large volumes of security data.
- Contribute to the architecture and technical design of services for data ingestion, processing, storage, and analysis.
- Build reliable and efficient distributed systems operating at exabyte scale.
- Identify opportunities to improve system performance, scalability, reliability, and operational efficiency.
- Incorporate customer feedback and insights into future designs and solution fixes.
- Ensure continuous feedback loops measuring customer value and usage patterns are incorporated.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 4+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including C, C++, C#, Java, or Python, OR equivalent experience.
- Ability to meet Microsoft, customer, and/or government security screening requirements, including Microsoft Cloud Background Check.
Desired Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 6+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including C, C++, C#, Java, or Python, OR Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 8+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including C, C++, C#, Java, or Python, OR equivalent experience.
- Experience designing, building, or operating scalable distributed systems, data platforms, or large-scale cloud services.
- Experience with cloud computing platforms such as Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Knowledge of security principles and challenges associated with securing large-scale, distributed systems.
- Experience developing or operating high-scale, mission-critical software-as-a-service (SaaS) products or services.
- Experience with security data, large-scale data processing, logging, telemetry, monitoring, or related data platforms.
- Experience with cloud-native architectures, microservices, and distributed system design.
- Demonstrated ability to solve complex technical problems and deliver reliable, high-quality software solutions.
Benefits
- Base pay range of USD $119,800 - $234,700 per year (US, excluding specific high-cost areas).
- Higher base pay range of USD $160,200 - $261,000 per year for San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area.
