Ericsson is seeking a Senior Scrum Master for a fixed-term maternity cover position in Budapest, Hungary. Responsibilities

Facilitate Scrum events including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Reviews and Retrospectives.
Help the team understand goals, priorities and delivery commitments.
Identify, visualize and drive the resolution of impediments and delivery risks.
Collaborate closely with Product Owners on backlog management and prioritization.
Support effective collaboration within the team and across organizational boundaries.
Coach the team in Agile values, Scrum practices and continuous improvement.
Enable the team to become increasingly self-managing and accountable.
Work with Product Owners and Line Managers to improve ways of working.

Requirements

University Degree in Engineering (IT, Software Engineering, Telecom) or equivalent experience.
8-10 years of professional experience
4-5 years in Agile environments and Scrum Master roles.
Practical experience in Agile software development organizations.
Excellent communication, facilitation, active listening, and conflict resolution skills.
Strong coaching and servant leadership mindset.
Empathy, curiosity, and genuine interest in helping people succeed.
Ability to understand the broader product, customer, and delivery context.
Analytical mindset with strong focus on progress, outcomes, and problem solving.
Ability to influence without formal authority.
Passion for continuous improvement and team development.
Strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills.

Desired Qualifications

Previous experience as a Software Developer, Tester, DevOps Engineer, or similar technical role is highly valued.
