Responsibilities
- Lead M&A activities from initial evaluation through post-close integration.
- Manage M&A process including due diligence, financial modeling, market analysis, and pipeline management.
- Prepare presentations for executive leadership on investment rationale, valuation, and recommendations.
- Support integration planning and Day 1 readiness, focusing on value creation and risk mitigation.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of M&A processes and standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Engineering, Business or related field (MBA preferred).
- 7+ years of direct M&A transaction experience in corporate development, investment banking, private equity, transaction advisory, or a comparable M&A focused role.
- Demonstrated experience independently managing multiple transaction processes from LOI through closing.
- Prior experience working with industrial or manufacturing businesses.
- Expertise in financial modeling and business valuation techniques (including DCF).
- Deep knowledge of due diligence, transaction structuring, purchase agreement concepts, and closing processes.
- Ability to lead complex, cross-functional projects and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills, including the ability to create clear, impactful presentations for executive leadership.
- Knowledge of M&A best practices, industry standards, and regulatory considerations.
- Willingness to travel as needed.
Desired Qualifications
- Industry knowledge in locks, door hardware, access control, or electronic security.
- Familiarity with electronic access control, automated doors, and cloud-based solutions.
- Experience integrating manufacturing businesses, including supply chain and distribution.
- Understanding of relevant product and safety certifications (UL, ANSI).
- Professional certifications (CFA, CAIA, PMP, or M&A-related credentials).
