In short

Scania is looking for two Senior Internal Auditors to join their Industrial, IT & Administration Audit team in Södertälje, Sweden. The role involves leading risk-based audit engagements, utilizing data analytics and AI, and building stakeholder relationships across international operations. This is a full-time, permanent, on-site position with up to 25% travel.

Responsibilities

Lead complex, risk-based audit engagements from planning to reporting and follow-up.
Apply professional judgment, scepticism, and business insight to identify risks and assess controls.
Use data analytics, AI-assisted analysis, and automation to enhance audit coverage and insights.
Contribute to continuous risk assessment and dynamic audit planning.
Build constructive relationships with stakeholders while maintaining independence and objectivity.
Collaborate with other GIA teams, TRATON Group colleagues, and external partners.
Help develop next-generation audit approaches, methods, and digital capabilities.

Requirements

Relevant university degree (e.g., business, economics, finance, engineering, data science) or equivalent.
At least eight years of audit experience, with three or more years in internal audit.
Strong practical foundation in internal/external audit, risk, controls, and governance.
Understanding of professional audit practices (IIA Standards, risk assessment, internal controls, fraud risk).
Demonstrable experience using AI, data analytics, and digital technologies (e.g., Power BI, SQL, Python, ChatGPT, Copilot).
Business-minded and risk-focused with an understanding of organizational value creation.
Exceptional critical thinking, professional scepticism, and sound judgment.
Strong interpersonal skills, integrity, and a forward-looking mindset.
Excellent written and spoken English.
Willingness to travel internationally (up to 25%).

Desired Qualifications

Swedish language proficiency.
Other language skills.
Relevant professional certifications (e.g., CIA, CPA, CA, ACCA).
Experience in industrial and automotive sectors.
