Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end lab support for a major SCHIE site and coordinate global lab alignment.
- Own lab strategy and roadmap-to-capacity planning (space, power, cooling, networks, racks, benches, tooling, coverage).
- Manage AI and compute rack readiness, including integration, power, cabling, network, and burn-in.
- Lead new-site standups, expansions, and platform transitions.
- Manage scope, schedules, risks, budgets, dependencies, priorities, and escalations.
- Own long-lead procurement for critical equipment.
- Drive standardized lab operations and continuous improvement (builds, inventory, safety, security, documentation).
- Establish repeatable operating models and standard procedures.
- Partner with engineering, management, finance, facilities, security, vendors, and support teams.
- Maintain timely stakeholder communications and documentation.
Requirements
- Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field AND 3+ years technical engineering experience.
- OR Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field AND 5+ years technical engineering experience.
- OR equivalent experience.
- Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements.
- Pass the Microsoft Cloud background check.
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field AND 8+ years technical engineering experience.
- OR equivalent experience.
- 4+ years of experience in engineering, product or technical program management, data analysis, or product development.
- 2+ years of experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects.
- Demonstrated leadership, collaboration, and problem-solving skills in a dynamic environment.
- Experience with Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar work-management tools.
- Ability to engage in dynamic work environment.
- Experience in analytics/metrics reporting.
- Working knowledge of network equipment, peripherals, and compute hardware.
- Effective interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, with strong organization, documentation, and attention to detail.
- Experience with analytics and metrics reporting and proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications.
Benefits
- The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $119,800 - $234,700 per year.
- The base pay range in the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area is USD $160,200 - $261,000 per year.
- Certain roles may be eligible for benefits and other compensation.
