Responsibilities

Lead embedded software application activities for steering systems, from requirements to verification and release.
Develop, integrate and maintain embedded software functions using C and C++.
Translate system and functional requirements into robust software solutions.
Coordinate software development activities with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
Review supplier deliveries and ensure compliance with technical, quality and project requirements.
Plan and execute software verification using MIL, SIL, HIL and vehicle testing environments.
Troubleshoot software and system issues, supporting root cause analysis and corrective actions.
Share knowledge, support colleagues and contribute to continuous improvement within the global engineering network.

Requirements

Computer, Electrical, Electronic, Mechatronics Engineering or a related field.
Solid experience in embedded software development for real-time systems using C or C++.
Experience with software requirements, integration, verification and troubleshooting.
Experience working with suppliers or external development partners.
Knowledge of AUTOSAR, MATLAB/Simulink and model-based development.
Knowledge of automotive communication protocols and Vector tools such as CANoe or CANalyzer.
Strong communication skills in English and the ability to collaborate within cross-functional and global teams.

Desired Qualifications

Experience with steering systems, vehicle dynamics or other safety-related automotive systems.
Experience with functional safety and ISO 26262.
Knowledge of Git, Jenkins, Python or other continuous integration and automation tools.
