Responsibilities
- Provide support for on call escalations and perform root cause analysis of issues.
- Independently resolve tickets within agreed SLA of ticket volume and time.
- Adhere to quality standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies.
- Engage in value-adding activities such as Knowledge base update and management, training freshers, and coaching analysts.
- Ensure positive customer experience and CSAT through First Call Resolution and minimum rejected resolutions or Reopen Cases.
Requirements
- L1 support experience on Windows/Unix Servers, AD exp. mandatory, Network Devices.
- Good troubleshooting skills.
- Fundamental knowledge of Networks.
- Excellent Verbal, Email communication skills.
- Exposure to any monitoring/ticketing tool, VERITAS Netbackup and Backup Exec.
- Willingness to work in 24 7 environment.
- Work experience with any alert monitoring tool e.g.: Net cool, BMC Patrol, NNM, HP OVO, Tivoli, Moogsoft etc.
- Work experience with Incident, Problem, Change lifecycle process.
- Work experience with any ITSM tool e.g.: Remedy, Peregrine, SNOW etc.
- Work experience with Backup monitoring tools like Networker.
- Experience generating Reports through Dashboard, Remedy, SNOW etc.
