Responsibilities

Lead and oversee API/Webservices testing efforts.
Develop and implement test strategies, plans, and cases for API/Webservices.
Automate test cases using Selenium and other tools.
Collaborate with developers to ensure code quality.
Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior team members.
Identify and troubleshoot issues in API/Webservices functionality.
Participate in agile ceremonies and provide testing status updates.

Requirements

Strong experience in API/Webservices testing methodologies and tools.
Proficiency in automation testing using Selenium.
In-depth knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and testing processes.
Ability to lead and mentor a team of testers.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
Familiarity with tools like Postman, SOAPUI, JMeter for API testing.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems.

Desired Qualifications

Relevant certifications in API testing, Selenium, or SDET would be a plus.
