This role focuses on building AI-first solutions for customer discovery and monetization of essential products. You will design, build, and own software end-to-end, partnering with scientists and product managers to create innovative shopping experiences.

Responsibilities

Design, build, and own software end-to-end, from design and code to testing, deployment, and operations.
Tackle ambiguous problems and deliver simple solutions to complex challenges.
Collaborate with scientists, product managers, and designers to develop worldwide shipping products.
Utilize AI tools and modern engineering practices to enhance development speed and quality.
Ensure operational excellence for built software, including monitoring and issue response.
Improve the technical bar through code reviews, mentoring, and hiring top talent.

Requirements

3+ years of professional software development experience (non-internship).
2+ years of experience in designing or architecting new and existing systems (design patterns, reliability, scaling).
Experience programming with at least one software programming language.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.

Desired Qualifications

3+ years of experience in the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control, build processes, testing, and operations.
Experience building complex software systems successfully delivered to customers.
Experience debugging, profiling, and implementing best software engineering practices in large-scale systems.
