The Sales Manager - Installed Base in Cork, Ireland (Remote) will lead the Process Systems & Software (PSS) installed-base business, focusing on bookings, revenue, and long-term growth through software and digital solutions. This player-manager role requires a strong commercial leader to develop teams, manage strategic customer accounts, and execute growth strategies.

Responsibilities

Lead, coach, and develop the Installed Base Sales Team to achieve bookings, revenue, and growth targets.
Manage and grow relationships with key strategic customers.
Develop and execute account plans that identify opportunities for expansion and increased customer value.
Drive sales execution, pipeline management, forecasting, and commercial performance.
Promote a customer-focused, high-performance sales culture built on accountability and collaboration.
Work closely with Operations, Business Units, and Centers of Excellence to ensure successful delivery of customer commitments.
Support lifecycle, software, and subscription business growth initiatives.
Ensure compliance with Emerson policies, ethical standards, and commercial governance requirements.
Act as both a strategic leader and hands-on salesperson, leading by example in customer engagement and opportunity development.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Sales, or a related field.
Proven experience in sales leadership, account management, or business development within industrial automation, software, process control, or related industries.
Experience managing customer relationships and developing strategic account plans.
Strong commercial acumen with a track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets.
Experience leading and developing sales teams.
Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
Proficiency in CRM systems and sales forecasting methodologies.
Fluent English language skills.
Valid driver's license and willingness to travel within Ireland as required.

Desired Qualifications

Experience within industrial automation, process control, software, digital transformation, or lifecycle services.
Knowledge of installed-base sales strategies and lifecycle business models.
Experience managing strategic customer accounts in a complex B2B environment.
Familiarity with subscription-based and recurring revenue business models.
Demonstrated success in driving business growth through cross-functional collaboration.
Experience working within a multinational organization.
