As a Sales Associate at IKEA in Johor Bahru, you will provide an enjoyable and successful shopping experience to customers, driving sales and profitability. This full-time, on-site role requires actively engaging with customers, identifying needs, advising on home furnishing solutions, and maintaining store standards.

Responsibilities

Actively approach customers requiring assistance.
Identify customer needs and advise on suitable home furnishing solutions.
Utilize IKEA sales and communication channels effectively.
Maintain cleanliness, tidiness, pricing, and stock levels in your area.
Ensure IKEA basic merchandising standards are met.
Convey passion for IKEA products and share knowledge with customers and colleagues.
Understand store and department action plans and contribute to department goals.
Maximize sales while maintaining profitability by focusing on top-selling and prioritized products.

Requirements

Business-minded and result-driven with a customer focus.
Experience in a customer- and commercial-oriented business.
Confident in approaching and talking to people proactively.
Interest in people's everyday life at home and home furnishing.
Good personal discipline, meticulous, and able to work in a fast-paced retail environment.
Willingness to multiskill and work in more than one section/department.
Willingness to work weekends, shift hours, and public holidays.
