Responsibilities
- Improve operational effectiveness across Sandvik Mining Sales Area USA.
- Identify process gaps, map and analyze current workflows, and recommend practical solutions.
- Develop insights into areas with the greatest improvement potential.
- Take an active, hands-on role in continuous improvement projects, including evaluating and applying AI technologies.
- Map and document current-state processes, identifying gaps, bottlenecks, and non-value-added work.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date process documentation.
- Lead and coordinate targeted process improvement initiatives.
- Facilitate workshops and process reviews with cross-functional teams.
- Apply Lean principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Establish and monitor meaningful KPIs.
- Identify, assess, and document opportunities for AI, automation, and digital technologies.
- Collaborate to evaluate, pilot, and implement AI-driven and automated solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, related field or equivalent experience
- 2–5 years of experience working with business processes, process improvement or a related field.
- Must have the legal right to work in the United States on an indefinite basis without employer sponsorship.
