Responsibilities
- Manage assigned program portfolios for cost, schedule, and technical performance.
- Establish and control program budgets and schedules to meet milestones.
- Manage NRE labor, material procurements, and depot capabilities.
- Coordinate facility requirements and oversee ongoing maintenance and operational support of Saab products.
- Ensure projects adhere to approved program management processes and identify/manage risks.
- Drive Earned Value Management (EVM) principles and report program status.
- Develop and implement business growth strategies within assigned market segments.
- Create competitive proposals and collaborate across functions for program success.
- Grow customer and industry partner relationships.
- Provide leadership to program execution staff and guide junior program managers.
- Contribute to the development and retention of program management talent.
Requirements
- BA/BS degree and 20+ years of experience, OR MA/MS degree and 18+ years of experience, OR PhD degree and 16+ years of experience.
- Experience successfully negotiating multi-million-dollar agreements.
- Advanced knowledge of program management standards and best practices (scheduling, cost accounting, EVMS, Risk/Opportunity management).
- Willingness to travel internationally and domestically up to 15%.
- Ability to obtain a U.S. DoD SECRET security clearance.
- Must be a U.S. citizen.
Desired Qualifications
- Engineering or program management background with 10+ years of progressive program management experience.
- Demonstrated experience supporting both defense and commercial products.
- In-depth knowledge of military or commercial radar systems, markets, and technologies.
