Outbound Planner

We are seeking an Outbound Planner to manage customer orders, logistics, and customer relations, working from Romeoville, IL, Elko, NV, or remotely. This role requires a Bachelor's degree and at least two years of experience in order processing, distribution, supply chain, and customer service.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily release of customer orders, including auto, mass, and manual release orders.
- Review suspended orders daily and execute cancellations based on customer requests or superseded items.
- Work with Inventory, Warehouse, and Freight teams to ensure efficient customer order flow.
- Interface with Order Desk, Customer Services Centers, and Sales Staff for expected customer service.
- Monitor outstanding sales orders and resolve order issues such as incorrect addresses or shipping instructions.
- Resolve allocation problems, suspended orders, and cycle count issues daily.
- Review and resolve outstanding orders requiring source changes, PO or DRP links, or new order placement weekly.
- Review "Hold till complete" orders weekly.
- Review and resolve Logistics Process and Support (LPS) tickets daily.
- Review Unit Down Orders and expedite accordingly daily.
- Track all LPS for timely and quality resolution.
- Resolve Sales orders that did not generate Purchase Orders in System 21 daily.
- Perform quarterly review and maintenance of Customer Masters.
- Communicate weekly with internal/external customers regarding progress on open orders.
Requirements
- Bachelors’ Degree
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in Order processing, Distribution, Supply Chain and Customer Service
- Experience managing internal and/or external customer accounts
- Good working knowledge of International Trade and Freight process
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Experience in interacting with Logistics Service Providers
Desired Qualifications
- Prior exposure to Aurora, DI, and PowerBi is an advantage.
- Experience with a Transport Management System desirable.
