Lloyds Banking Group is seeking a Microsoft Power BI Technical Specialist in Hyderabad, Telangana, to join their AI Centre of Excellence. The role involves designing and building data pipelines and platforms to power analytics and AI solutions, leveraging cutting-edge technology like Generative BI.

Responsibilities

Design and build next-gen data pipelines and platforms powering intelligent analytics, AI solutions, and scalable GenAI use cases.
Collaborate across geographies to translate stakeholder needs into robust data architectures, managing from technical scoping to delivery.
Work with agile teams of engineers, analysts, and data scientists to create bold, resilient, and scalable data solutions.
Develop and optimize data models for accuracy, consistency, and performance for downstream consumption, analytics, and conversational intelligence.
Leverage Google Cloud, BigQuery, dbt, and modern data engineering tools to build secure, automated, cloud-native data ecosystems.
Engineer and orchestrate intelligent data flows for generative and analytical tools.
Support user teams and product squads with documentation, training, and adoption activities to scale data engineering capabilities.

Requirements

At least 4 years of hands-on experience building and optimizing data pipelines, cloud data platforms, and production-grade data workflows.
Solid foundations in data modeling and engineering principles (orchestration, optimization, lineage, scalable architecture).
Python skills for ETL/ELT, automation, and data processing at scale.
Strong proficiency in SQL and modern cloud ecosystems, especially BigQuery.
Experience working across distributed data environments.
A strong sense for data quality and governance.
Ability to translate complex data engineering into clear, compelling narratives.

Desired Qualifications

Bonus points for experience taking data products from prototype to fully industrialized, highly-available solutions in complex enterprise environments.
