Responsibilities
- Manage the development and execution of a multi-year customer account plan to drive sales and identify new opportunities.
- Proactively understand customer needs, articulate growth opportunities, and influence stakeholders to enhance Microsoft offerings.
- Lead internal and external partners to develop and promote tailored account plans.
- Orchestrate the execution of account strategies to ensure high-volume sales and revenue potential.
- Leverage industry experts to strengthen knowledge of industry trends, competitors, and customer priorities.
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of customer needs, priorities, and industry insights to deliver new insights and joint solutions.
- Elevate stakeholder relationships and use Microsoft sales strategies to secure buy-in and execution.
- Orchestrate high-impact solutions that enable digital transformation and drive business value for customers.
- Build long-term loyalty by anticipating issues, removing blockers, and establishing recovery action plans.
- Engage and influence decision makers to position Microsoft and increase customer budget allocation.
- Earn and maintain status as a trusted advisor to C-level business decision makers.
- Mobilize and mentor the account management team and internal stakeholders with deep industry expertise.
- Create and qualify new opportunities by identifying strategic opportunities and guiding the customer.
- Develop and present compelling value proposition presentations and business plans for customers.
- Articulate Microsoft's and partners' point of view to drive purchase decisions and increase interaction.
- Leverage relationships to address complex political blockers and drive execution.
- Engage in strategic discussions to evolve customer business models using Microsoft capabilities.
- Drive strategic initiatives to promote a more holistic digital approach between Microsoft and the customer.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree AND 10+ years experience working in an industry or driving digital transformation OR Master's Degree AND 9+ years experience OR 13+ years experience OR equivalent experience.
- 6+ years experience making recommendations to and/or collaborating with mid-to-senior level executives.
- 8+ years experience closing large, complex agreements/deals.
- Authorization to work in the United States that does not require employer sponsorship.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience working in financial services/insurance industry driving digital transformation or equivalent experience.
- Demonstrated experience working with Financial Services/ Insurance organizations, leveraging industry knowledge to address customer challenges, navigate competitive landscapes, and drive digital transformation initiatives.
- Leverage industry, market, and competitive insights to position Microsoft solutions, influence customer strategy, and strengthen customer engagement.
Benefits
- Typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $133,000 - $222,700 per year.
- Different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, where the base pay range is USD $170,300 - $239,800 per year.
