Responsibilities
- Manage inventory and material flow, including shipping/receiving.
- Deliver materials to production teams and stock production areas.
- Process paperwork, load/unload freight, and perform cycle counts.
- Update system transactions and ensure quality standards.
- Participate in safety meetings and cross-train in multiple areas.
- Operate company vehicles and large trailers for material transport.
- Unpack deliveries, check documentation, and route deliveries.
- Package components according to quality standards for transit.
- Assemble custom kits and deliver materials to workstations.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required.
- 2+ years of experience in Materials.
- Basic desktop computer skills.
- Basic math skills including the ability to read a tape measure and micrometer.
- Must wear PPE: steel toe boots, safety glasses, and ear plugs.
- Ability to stand or walk 80% of the workday.
- Ability to exert up to 50 lbs of force occasionally and 30 lbs of force frequently.
- Must be able to lift raw materials, assemblies, and equipment up to 50 lbs.
Desired Qualifications
- Prior manufacturing experience preferred.
- Forklift operation certification preferred.
- Overhead crane experience preferred.
- Scissor Lift certification preferred.
- CDL license preferred for operating commercial delivery vehicles.
