Responsibilities

  • Design and verification of a new concentration-based model for fault detection on an Internal Combustion Engine.
  • Conduct theoretical research utilizing data from previous experiments.
  • Perform final verification experimentally.
  • Divide work into four phases: tentative research question, iterative information survey, main thesis work with mid-term seminar feedback, and final write-up and presentation.
  • Present thesis orally at Scania and the grading university.

Requirements

  • Master of Science student in Mechanical Engineering (mechatronics), chemical engineering, Electrical Engineering, Engineering Physics or similar.
  • Educated in model design/verification, mechatronics and programming.
  • Experience working with Matlab for evaluating and presenting results.
  • Proficient in Swedish and English in speech and writing.
