Lead-Creative Design
Job description
What are your responsibilities?
- Lead and Mentor: Direct a team of designers ranging from experienced professionals to fresh graduates. Mentor and cultivate their skills, fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation.
- Design Strategy: Develop and implement design strategies that align with our business goals. Ensure that the design output is coherent across all platforms and resonates with our target audience.
- Process Optimization: Integrate best practices and methodologies like DesignOps to streamline workflow and improve design team efficiency and output quality.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with other departments to ensure design solutions meet cross-functional needs. Facilitate effective communication within the team and across the organization.
- Innovation and Research: Stay ahead of industry trends and integrate new tools and technologies into the team’s workflow. Promote experimentation and the exploration of new design methodologies.
What do we need?
- Minimum 6 years of relevant experience in the creative field, with at least 2 years in a leadership role managing teams, including fresh graduates.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Design. A portfolio that showcases and justifies the experience. A diploma is also acceptable with relevant work to showcase experience.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire a team. Strong mentoring and coaching skills to develop team members. Be empathetic towards the young designers and make sure knowledge transfer happens smoothly.
- Proficiency in design management practices such as DesignOps or equivalent.
- Impeccable communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively convey design visions and concepts. Have fun while working with people from all backgrounds and a good sense of team building.
Technical Requirements
- Design Software: Expert-level proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects) and experience with Sketch, Figma, and Adobe XD for UI/UX design projects. Familiarity with 3D design tools such as Blender or Dimension is a plus.
- Digital Advertising & Paid Ads: Ability to design visually appealing and effective ad creatives for various digital platforms including Google, Meta, and LinkedIn. Experience in crafting targeted ad campaigns that resonate with diverse audience segments.
- Web Technologies: Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and Web flow to effectively collaborate with the product team and ensure design feasibility.
- Project Management Tools: Familiarity with project management tools such as Notion or JIRA to track project progress and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Design Systems: Knowledge of creating and managing design systems to ensure consistency across all digital platforms.
