The IT Support Associate will provide on-site support for AV/VC systems, troubleshooting complex integrated systems and guiding non-technical users. Responsibilities
- Provide in-person service and support for AV/VC systems for events and meetings.
- Troubleshoot issues with AV systems, particularly complex integrated systems.
- Work with on-premise IT technicians, contractors, and integrators to troubleshoot and repair systems.
- Communicate with manufacturers and vendors for repair or RMA of faulty equipment and manage local inventory.
- Collaborate with partner teams to improve customer experience.
- Maintain communication with customers and stakeholders, documenting incident progress.
- Perform appearance and preventive maintenance visits to conference rooms.
- Collaborate on technical documentation and SOPs.
- Daily travel between sites is required.
- Occasional after-hours work may be required.
Requirements
- 1+ years of corporate setting Windows, Mac or Linux Operating systems support experience.
- Experience troubleshooting integrated and interdependent computer systems.
- Experience maintaining zebra thermal printers, troubleshooting thin clients, PCs, scanners, and portable handheld terminals.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
Desired Qualifications
- CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+, Cisco/CCNA, Linux (Redhat), Microsoft hardware (installation), AWS, or other industry relevant certifications.
- Experience in a dynamic environment with a high degree of customer service.
