Amazon India is looking for an Investigation Associate for the Transaction Risk Management Team. The role involves researching seller transactions, taking appropriate actions, documenting findings, and communicating with internal and external stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree and experience with Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

Researches and evaluates facts surrounding seller transactions.
Takes appropriate action on investigated transactions based on established standard operating procedure and tools.
Documents their actions by providing detailed annotations.
Communicates with external customers via phone or email during the investigation process.
Communicates with internal customers and peers in person, via email, annotations and phone during and following the investigation process.
Understands the issue and makes best use of the available resources to resolve it.
Systematically escalates problems or variance in the information to the relevant owners/ teams according to processes and standard.
Communicates with internal and external stakeholders.
Understands performance metrics to create analysis for driving business goals.
Meets predetermined and assigned productivity targets and quality standards.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree or above in a quantitative/technical field such as computer science, engineering, statistics.
Experience using Microsoft Excel to manipulate and analyze data, with the ability to transform data into actionable insights.

Desired Qualifications

Experience in the ecommerce payments space.
Previous trust and safety experience.
Experience succeeding in a customer-driven workplace.
Analytical and capable of succeeding in a fast-paced team environment.
Excellent individual problem-solving and analytical skills.
Excellent judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
