As an Interior Designer for IKEA Jebel Ali, you will be responsible for the visual presentation of the product range within the Furniture Showroom, ensuring displays meet IKEA standards and providing creative furnishing solutions. This role involves maintaining the showroom to enhance customer experience and support sales, collaborating with Visual Merchandisers, and assisting customers directly.

Responsibilities

Plan and implement design projects, ensuring displays are in line with IKEA standards.
Provide creative and commercially viable furnishing solutions.
Maintain the showroom to enhance customer experience and support sales performance.
Collaborate with Visual Merchandisers.
Engage directly with customers to demonstrate home solutions.
Assist in planning in-house projects and preparing drawings.
Implement and maintain all interiors and displays in the showroom.
Conduct daily inspections of the showroom and correct any damages immediately.
Support the planning and implementation of the store commercial calendar.
Maintain all areas in the store according to IKEA standards.
Follow IKEA manuals to produce functional home furnishing solutions.
Get involved in other store projects, including rebuilding business areas.
Assist Visual Merchandisers as required.
Show customers the extension of range coordination.
Plan and decorate room sets to inspire customers.
Assist customers with solutions for their homes.

Requirements

Excellent design and creative skills.
Good knowledge of home furnishing, market, social trends, and fashion.
Proficiency in AutoCAD.
Customer-focused with strong teamwork capabilities.

Desired Qualifications

Degree or Diploma in Interior Designing or Architecture.
3-5 years of experience in relevant areas.
Excellent written and verbal English skills.
Strong drafting, space planning, interior, and architectural design skills.
