Alstom is looking for an Industrial Data Management Specialist in Toronto, ON, to optimize industrial processes and ensure product market readiness. This full-time role requires expertise in data management, ERP (SAP), and PLM systems, collaborating with various business teams to meet Quality, Cost, and Delivery objectives.

Responsibilities

Ensure part number availability and related documentation from PLM to ERP (SAP) for manufacturing and purchase orders.
Implement and manage industrial Master Data across PLM, ERP (SAP), and MES systems.
Support the implementation and updates of IT/ERP systems.
Act as Key User for SAP (MM) and PLM Enovia.
Support and train end-users on tools like Fiori, Qliksense, Orchestra, and Celonis.
Manage technical data for project execution, ensuring part availability in PLM (MBOM) and ERP (SAP).
Collect, update, and cross-check information between Project and Product teams to define part scope.
Perform actions in Alstom Database for BOM management to ensure part code availability in ERP (SAP).
Support the deployment of SAP & GSI at Alstom sites and address technical issues.
Collaborate with regional/global business process experts and act as a local point of contact.
Deploy tools and processes in line with Alstom D&IS guidelines.
Launch/follow actions with other project team members to enrich data in ERP (SAP).
Ensure data consistency between IT systems: CLAMP, PLM, ERP (SAP).
Manage part numbers according to Signalling standards.
Ensure testing and validation of new features.
Support end-users on SAP and capture, analyze, and resolve incidents.
Ensure process application and proper tool usage.
Manage impacts of engineering and process changes in the systems.
Set-up effectivity for changes.
Deliver industrial files and data to suppliers on time.
Apply Orchestra, PLM, and ERP standard processes.
Support technical changes on PLM and ERP (SAP).
Perform UATs when needed.
Ensure accuracy of BOMs.
Manage user access for SAP, request new roles, and manage SoDs.
Perform document extraction from PLM Enovia and Orchestra.

Requirements

Degree in engineering or industrial, or related field in operations, supply chain (preferred).
5 to 8 years of experience in Operations, Industrial, or Supply Chain departments, on electronics, electrical, or mechanical devices.
Minimum 5 years of experience as a Key User or business user with ERP (SAP) in supply chain, industrial, and manufacturing.
Strong experience in data management.
Experience in BOM creation/update/enrichment with dedicated database/tools (ERP SAP, PLM Enovia, Teamcenter).
Experience in configuration management, routings, and assembly instructions.
Knowledge of Engineering design, Industrialization, and Manufacturing.
Excellent technical problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and collaborative skills.
Proficiency in ERP tools (e.g., SAP) for Bill of Materials, routings, and configuration follow-up.
Understanding of Quality, EHS standards, and operations management.
Knowledge of project management, production management, and process.
Fluent in English.
Familiarity with railway industry practices and signaling products (desirable).
