Responsibilities
- Develop and implement procurement strategy aligned with business objectives.
- Lead purchasing and sourcing operations, ensuring efficient processes and governance.
- Create and manage procurement plans.
- Manage strategic supplier relationships and drive sourcing initiatives.
- Monitor market trends, conduct cost analyses, and identify savings opportunities.
- Lead, motivate, and develop the Procurement team.
- Define and follow up on KPIs, business results, and improvement activities.
- Ensure compliance with Scania policies, procedures, and Scania Way principles.
Requirements
- University degree or equivalent relevant experience.
- At least 5 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or a related business area.
- Strong leadership and people management experience, preferably in a B2B or industrial environment.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
- Experience in managing internal and external stakeholders.
- Fluent English, both written and spoken.
- High integrity, result orientation, and ability to lead change.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in an international environment is considered an advantage.
- Knowledge of the D365 system is considered an advantage.
