Volvo Group is offering a temporary Graduate Apprentice Trainee position in Bangalore, India, for fresh engineering graduates through the National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS). This role focuses on gaining hands-on experience in electrical and electronics/instrumentation engineering, supporting design and development activities.

Responsibilities

Support design and development activities within the assigned engineering team.
Assist in preparing and updating technical requirements of electrical components – Starter Motors, Alternators, Relays, Sensors, etc.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams on product and process improvement initiatives.
Learn and apply Volvo’s engineering standards and procedures.
Participate in technical reviews, data analysis, and report preparation.
Support ongoing engineering and manufacturing operations as part of the learning process.

Requirements

B.Tech / B.E. in Electrical and Electronics / Instrumentation.
Year of Graduation: 2024, or 2025/26
Program: National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS).
Strong fundamentals in Electrical and Electronics/ Instrumentation engineering concepts.
Knowledge of MATLAB, Circuit simulation tools - LT SPICE, P SPICE
Proficiency in MS Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
Effective communication and teamwork abilities.

Desired Qualifications

Knowledge of Power BI, Data Science, AI would be an added advantage.
