Electrolux Group is looking for a Facility Manager based in Petaling Jaya, Selangor, Malaysia. This role is responsible for the comprehensive management of company facilities across Malaysia, ensuring safety, compliance, cost-effectiveness, and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

Manage day-to-day facilities operations across multiple sites in Malaysia, including HQ, Parts Centres, and branches.
Establish and maintain consistent facilities management standards.
Develop preventive and corrective maintenance programs for buildings and equipment.
Oversee office administration, dispatch operations, and coordinate facility requirements for expansions and renovations.
Manage maintenance and servicing of building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, security, etc.).
Ensure compliance with Malaysian legislation, regulatory requirements, and company policies regarding health, safety, and security.
Manage facilities management vendors, contractors, and service providers, including performance monitoring and contract negotiations.
Develop and manage annual facilities operating and capital expenditure budgets, monitoring expenditure and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
Partner with HR and stakeholders on workplace initiatives, sustainability, and employee experience.
Lead or support facilities-related projects, including office moves, renovations, and new site openings.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Property Management, Building Management, Business Administration or a related discipline.
Minimum 8–10 years of relevant experience in facilities, workplace, property or building management.
Proven experience managing facilities/sites across Malaysia.
Experience managing corporate offices as well as operational environments (parts centres, branches, service facilities) is highly preferred.
Strong experience in OSH, vendor, contractor, contract, and budget management.
Good knowledge of Malaysian workplace, building, health, and safety requirements.
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
Strong commercial and cost-management mindset.

Desired Qualifications

Ensure critical facilities issues are escalated and resolved with minimal business disruption.
Coordinate emergency preparedness, evacuation drills and business continuity requirements relating to facilities.
Support internal, external and regulatory audits relating to facilities and workplace management.
Ensure contractors comply with company safety, security and access requirements.
Drive continuous improvement and cost optimisation through effective vendor management.
Support the company's sustainability and environmental objectives through efficient use of energy, water and other resources.
